Heineken made a self-driving beer delivery robot
Heineken recently unveiled a beer-carrying robot that ensures ice-cold brews are always nearby. The “Beer Outdoor Transporter,” or simply B.O.T., is designed to follow you around while carrying up to 12 ber cans in its onboard cooler. With its onboard AI and speech synthesizer, the WALL-E-like robot can even talk to you and is always down to chill. Unfortunately, Heineken is not selling B.O.T.s to the public; instead, it will be shipping a number of them to the winners of a raffle, which ended on July 1.
B.O.T. weighs 70 pounds and can travel 15 miles per charge in two modes: autonomous and operator-controlled. It’s equipped with a touch screen, cameras, and motion sensors to avoid obstacles and autonomously follow its owner.
