The real-life Star Wars jumpspeeder, Jetson ONE, can carry a single pilot weighing up to 210 lbs (95kg) for a maximum flight time of 20 minutes. The company delivers the vehicle partially (50%) assembled for your build-it-yourself pleasure at a price tag of $92,000.
Zoom In: The Jetson ONE can take off and land anywhere you want, from a garden to a terrace. Controlled via a three-axis joystick and a throttle lever, the single-seat vehicle doesn’t require a pilot’s license. It also has a hands-free hover mode and emergency functions, including safety features like a triple-redundant flight computer and LiDAR obstacle avoidance. The company claims it has already sold out for 2022 deliveries.
