A new 'Kinetic Touchless' button can mimic a physical press without any contact
Singapore-based design studio STUCK Design launched a prototype of their new ‘Kinetic Touchless’ technology that can imitate the physical motion of a pressed button without the need for human contact. The company thinks this tech could be "a surprisingly delightful and yet newly familiar way to interact with contactless technology" during the COVID-19 pandemic. There is no real-world application for the 'Kinetic Touchless' technology yet, but the company says that a working prototype has already been developed by the studio.
