Sotheby’s auctioned off the world’s first intelligent NFT, a virtual AI being
The first intelligent Non-Fungible Token (iNFT) of the world, an AI virtual being named Alice, was auctioned off by Sotheby’s for $478,000. Created by AI startup Alethea AI and artist Robert Alice, the virtual being is based on GPT-3, a natural language processing model developed by OpenAI. Alice can partake in conversations and can ask and respond to questions. Her appearance is based on generic stock CGI (Computer-Generated Imagery) models.
