Created by AI startup Alethea AI and artist Robert Alice, the virtual being is based on GPT-3, a natural language processing model developed by OpenAI. Alice can partake in conversations and can ask and respond to questions. Her appearance is based on generic stock CGI (Computer-Generated Imagery) models.
