Oculus Quest 2 owners can now activate voice commands by using the wake word "Hey Facebook". It's only available to second-gen headsets from the company currently, soon to be followed by the original Quest as well as its Portal smart displays.
At this point, the wake word is an opt-in experimental feature within the settings. Facebook pointed out that users can easily view, hear and delete their voice commands activity at any time. The voice storage in the settings menu can also be turned off optionally. The company plans to ultimately make the feature default in the future but will keep it as an opt-in.
